The function of car ventilation: When the car is running normally, fresh air continuously enters from the air inlet, and dirty air inside the carriage flows out from the air outlet, forming a good air circulation and ensuring the freshness of the air inside the car. If the blower is turned on, it will accelerate the flow speed of the air inside the carriage, and the temperature inside the carriage can be adjusted through the cooling and heating devices of the air conditioning system.
The so-called car ventilation system refers to a device that can circulate air inside the car compartment. Its function is to introduce fresh air from outside the car into the car, while also expelling dirty air from inside the car.
There are generally three types of ventilation systems in cars, namely natural ventilation, forced ventilation, and comprehensive ventilation.
The so-called natural ventilation refers to the use of the pressure difference inside and outside the car compartment to circulate air inside and outside the car. For example, opening the glass or sunroof is the simplest form of natural ventilation. When the car doors and windows are fully closed, the cool breeze can still be felt inside the car, which is also the credit of natural ventilation; Forced ventilation refers to the use of an air conditioning blower to force fresh air outside the vehicle into the carriage, ultimately achieving ventilation and air exchange; Comprehensive ventilation refers to the simultaneous use of natural ventilation and forced ventilation in automobiles. Generally, cars use comprehensive ventilation during normal driving.
Since it is "ventilation", there must be air inlet and air outlet. The air inlet of a typical car compartment is designed in the upper right corner of the engine compartment and the lower right corner of the front windshield, also known as the "air conditioning air inlet".
After entering from here, the air enters the carriage through the air conditioning distribution duct and enters from the air outlet on the dashboard. This position is the positive pressure zone of the car, which ensures sufficient air to enter the car. At the same time, this position is relatively high, and there are relatively few pollutants such as exhaust gas, dust, and mud in the car. An air conditioning filter is also installed, which can block the majority of pollutants outside the car, which is sufficient to ensure the quality of air entering the cabin. In addition, there is an internal and external circulation flap at this position, which can control the amount of air entering the carriage.
However, if the air inside the car only enters and cannot exit, it will inevitably cause high pressure inside the car, making it difficult for fresh air to enter, resulting in poor ventilation quality, and also making the passengers inside the car feel uncomfortable, and the noise inside the car will also increase. This requires the carriage to be equipped with air vents.
