Model Introduction

As a successor product to SLS AMG, AMG GT does not use the retro gull-wing doors of the previous generation, but uses a common opening method. The engine of this car is front center mounted, with a long hood and streamlined body creating a dynamic effect. The soft line LED headlights and the starry sky type middle net are the main components of the low head. The tail design of the AMG GT is also very simple, with a flat shaped LED tail lamp that is slightly similar to SLS AMG and consists of 18 LEDs. The large dual outlet exhaust pipe is a representative feature of high-performance sports cars. In addition, this AMG GT also features a variable tail wing. In terms of tires, the new car is equipped with 19 inch aluminum alloy rims and can be upgraded to 20 inches. The front 390 mm/rear 420 mm brake discs are used for braking, which can be upgraded to a larger carbon ceramic brake system. [2] Like SLS, AMG GT is built on a lightweight aluminum alloy frame, weighing 231 kilograms. To reduce weight and center of gravity, this new car abandons the cumbersome gull-wing doors of the SLS and adopts a conventional front hinged door. The curb weight of the standard GT model is 1540kg, while the curb weight of the GT S model is 1570kg.

Benz AMG GT is equipped with a 4.0T V8 engine, which includes two versions of high and low power: the basic AMG GT has an output power of 340kW (462PS) and a peak torque of 600Nm, with a mechanical rear axle differential; The high-power version of the AMG GT S has a maximum power of 375kW (510PS) and a peak torque of 650Nm, coupled with an electronic rear axle differential. The new AMG GT is equipped with an improved version of the 7-speed dual clutch transmission used by the SLS. The transmission is installed at the rear of the vehicle and provides manual and automatic shifting, providing a 47:53 weight distribution between the front and rear wheels of the vehicle. This improved transmission offers up to five different driving modes: Controlled Efficiency, Sport, Sport Plus, Individual, and Race mode, which is only available on GT S models.
